- the ac motor will generate heat during normal operation, as long as the temperature rise is stable and the motor housing surface temperature is lower than 90℃ (194℉). overheat may affect the insulation performance of the motor and the service life of the bearing, result in breakdown finally. please shut down the power first and then inspect:
- check if the power supply fits the specification?
- is the motor over loaded?
- poor working environment (high temp.). the motor is exposed to the sun, the ambient temperature exceeds 40°c (104℉), poor ventilation, motor cooling fan breakdown.
- incorrect capacitor?
- frequently start and stop?
